Hosting and webDesigner 

You do NOT have to have your webhosting with the Netpoint Project to use webDesigner - it can publish to any FTP webspace on the internet, though there is a free Netpoint Project webspace allocation with each package, if required. You will need a domain name for your website to work, which can also be ordered from the ISP section of this site. You can choose any hosting package from any hosting provider:

• Use non-Netpoint hosting: webDesigner will upload to your existing hosting package, but you must fill in the additional 'FTP Details' form at the bottom of the webDesigner order page to supply us with the ftp details of your webspace - FTP host address, port, username, password, default directory and filename.
  
• Use webDesigner free hosting allowance: just fill in the webDesigner order form then order your domain name from the ISP section of the Netpoint site if required. You do not need to fill in the FTP Details form.
    
• Use a full Netpoint hosting package: fill in the webDesigner order form then order your domain name and full hosting package from the ISP section of the Netpoint site. You do not need to fill in the FTP Details form.
